Brian Besong, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Saint Francis University, earned his B.A. in philosophy from Calvin College and converted to Catholicism while working toward a Ph.D. in philosophy at Purdue University.

In his talk, Besong discusses the moral character of communication and how many philosophers have viewed the action of lying and its permissibility.
