The Fellows of the 2022 Catholic Imagination Fellowship

The Catholic Imagination Fellowship is a six-week, paid, integrated summer work-study program for university-aged students. It seeks to ‘thicken’ the moral imagination of participants and to equip them with practical skills to evangelize through narrative and beauty.

By the end of the fellowship, participants will have:

Formed deep and lasting friendships with other participants & faculty
Familiarized themselves with the essential artistic and poetic expression of the Catholic faith
Learned to effectively utilize beauty and narrative to transform their own communities

Eligibility

Students must be:

Enrolled full-time at an accredited College, University, or institute of higher learning
A member of a parish of the Diocese of Tulsa & Eastern Oklahoma
Able to commit to full-time work and study from Jun 5^th–Jul 16^th, 2023
Able to reside in the Tulsa Metro area & commute to the Chancery Offices for the duration of the Fellowship
Willing to participate in evening events & excursions with other Fellows & Institute Faculty, as laid out in sample schedule

The Program

Fellows will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following:

Two (2) for-credit courses in the Great Books
Recourse to expert Alcuin faculty
Weekly cultural excursions:
- Evening dinners
- Visit to Clear Creek Monastery
- Tours of historic local Churches
- Trips to the theater & museums
Experience working for a Diocesan cultural institute
$1440 stipend
Publication of written work
An all-expense-paid pilgrimage to New Orleans
